Dear Swim Club Members and Friends,

For many of us, the Bryn Athyn Swim Club isn’t just a pool; it’s where summer has begun for the last 65 years. It’s the sound of kids jumping off the diving board, afternoons spent poolside with friends, first jobs as lifeguards, and memories that carry from one generation to the next. 

The Bryn Athyn Swim Club Board works hard to preserve what makes the swim club so meaningful and to ensure it runs efficiently and safely. This year, this institution needs extra attention and support. Membership has significantly declined over the last decade, and facilities that have served us well need ongoing maintenance and repair.

To responsibly move forward with opening the swim club this summer, enough families and individuals must join. Our pool relies on membership revenue to meet operating costs. In short, without membership, we have no pool.

We are reaching out for help to ensure our pool continues to be the welcoming place we love. If you want to be part of this effort, here are some things you can do:

  • Become members and invite friends to become members too. Sponsor a neighbor who’s never joined before. Gift a membership to a family in need. Upgrade to a Gold or Platinum patron membership if you want to give a little more. We can’t say it enough: membership revenue keeps the pool lights on.
  • Lend a hand on work days on May 16, 9am-12pm and May 28, 5-8pm. Opening the pool is a big job, and volunteers make a huge difference. 
  • Donate to the pool. Contributions or gifts paid directly to the Bryn Athyn Swim Club are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

With your help, we can ensure this special place will be enjoyed for years to come. We have some big ideas and are excited for the 2026 season!
